About us
Wanting to provide his patients with the best experience possible, Nick decided to build his dream dental practice in Norwood from the ground up.
He purchased an old bungalow at number 44 Beulah Road that he thought would be perfect in July 2021.
Leaning on the experience and knowledge of many friends in the dental and building industries, Nick set his sights on acquiring a space that would be easy to access, have great parking, have sufficient space to grow and provide something different to what any other dental practice could offer.
In order to turn this property into a world class dental facility, he enlisted the help of Mark Nield of ON Architecture and Daniel Lees from SAGLE building group.
With careful consideration and planning they came up with a design that provided space, comfort and quality finish, as well as showcasing the key natural features of the location. The North facing aspect and the huge Oak tree, now located directly in front of the patient waiting room, are key to the design.
Once the existing building was demolished, construction started in April 2022 and over the next 10 months grew into the welcoming and light space you see today.

Dr Nick Jackman
Dentist (BDS Adelaide)
Dr Nick Jackman is a General Dentist with over 15 years experience treating patients from all walks of life, helping them to overcome anxieties and achieve ideal dental health and function. He enjoys the challenge that comes with being a general dentist, however has a keen interest in cosmetic treatments including porcelain and “one-visit” resin veneers as well as dental implants.
Nick was born and raised in McLaren Vale and enjoyed an active childhood, mainly spent playing any and all sports, especially cricket and football. After a very brief attempt at becoming a professional sportsperson, he decided that Dentistry would be a better career choice.
He graduated from The University of Adelaide with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2007, then started his career as a Dentist in Hutt Street, Adelaide.
In order to further his knowledge in his field of interest, Dental Implantology, Nick and his wife Jackie, relocated to Melbourne in 2013. Whilst there, Nick undertook postgraduate study through the Global Institute for Dental Education and the Loma Linda University in California. Over 2 years, Nick was able to learn the science and theory behind, as well as train and be mentored in, the clinical side of dental implant placement and restoration. This knowledge has been invaluable in successfully treating hundreds of implant cases from single tooth replacements, through to full arch and implant rehabilitations, which has been life changing for many patients.
Nick and Jackie returned from Melbourne in 2015 with their first daughter Edwina. In 2017, Camilla joined the family and they have settled back into Adelaide life with their two French Bulldogs, Lupe and Buddy.
He rejoined Perfect Smile on Hutt Street, Adelaide, as a partner in 2016 and continued to treat his patients with the highest level of quality and care until changing career direction in 2021.
Along with Dr Julian French and Dr Gabrielle Klingberg, Nick set up the Smile Clinic Seaford practice in Seaford Meadows which opened late 2022, allowing them to take their experience and passion for dentistry to the south and Fleurieu. When not at Beulah Dental, Nick can be found at Smile Clinic Seaford delivering the same dental care you can expect at Beulah Dental, Norwood.
Dr Edward Bell
Dentist (BDS Adelaide)
Dr Edward Bell enjoys practising all areas of dentistry, providing patients with excellent care to suit their immediate needs, and treatment plans to re-establish and maintain oral health, function and an overall beautiful smile. He has a special interest in cosmetic dentistry, Invisalign orthodontic treatment and both the surgical placement and restoration of dental implants.
Originally from Shepparton in country Victoria, Edward moved to South Australia in 2008 to study the Bachelor of Dental Surgery at The University of Adelaide, before starting his career in Hutt Street, Adelaide. In 2019 he moved to Melbourne and spent two years working as an All-On-4 dentist, where he exclusively assisted patients in rebuilding their smiles with full mouth implant retained restorations. This was followed by two years in Vancouver, Canada, where he completed the National Dental Examining Board Certification before returning to Adelaide in 2022.
He is committed to ongoing education as a member of the Australian Dental Association. He has completed the Biohorizons surgical implant course in Lima, Peru and the Advanced Implant Dentistry course through the P-I Branemark Institute of South Africa in Johannesburg. In 2021 he was acknowledged as a Platinum Elite Invisalign provider.
Outside of dentistry he enjoys spending time with his wife Lulu and his two children Harriet and Hugh. He is a keen golfer, an avid alpine skier, an unreliable hockey player for the Adelaide Hockey Club, and a long-suffering Essendon Bombers supporter.

Heidi Chapman
Oral Health Therapist (BOH Adelaide)
Heidi has worked in the dental industry for 20 years. In 2011 she completed her Bachelor of Oral Health at Adelaide University and since then has been working as an Oral Health Therapist in many areas of dentistry, including paediatric and general dental practice as well as teeth whitening. Heidi brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience in all aspects of oral health, dental hygiene and children’s dentistry. She is passionate about helping her patients to achieve their oral health goals. Heidi is a very caring and compassionate operator who works especially well with anxious patients and children, making them feel comfortable, in control and providing treatment at their pace.
Zoom in-chair teeth whitening and home whitening are now available at Beulah Dental in Norwood. Heidi is able to provide both whitening services which she would love to talk to you about at your first appointment.
Heidi is also a very busy mum to three young boys. She enjoys spending time at their football games and hikes in the Adelaide foothills. Heidi enjoys spending some quiet time in her garden at home, running with her friends and whenever possible, quick trips away with friends and family.
Veronica Pletiak
Oral Health Therapist (BOH Adelaide)
Veronica is an enthusiastic member of the Beulah Dental Team. She graduated from the University of Adelaide in 2014 with a Bachelor of Oral Health and since then has worked across a number of fields of dentistry within both public and private practice. She has also spent part of her career working in London, U.K. and volunteering in the Philippines, Vietnam and rural Australia. These experiences have helped shape Veronica into the caring clinician that she is to help provide you with the most holistic and positive dental experience possible. She is passionate about working with you to achieve your oral and general health goals.
Veronica is an active member of the Australian Society of Periodontology, has previously held memberships with ADOHTA and DHAA and even been a guest speaker at CPD events.
With experience in orthodontics, general and cosmetic dentistry, Veronica is here to answer any of your questions and help you on your dental journey.
Outside of the surgery, Veronica enjoys spending time tending to her flower and veggie gardens, walking her dog Hugo and also loves travelling.
Voula Williamson
Practice Manager
Voula has been integral to the creation of Beulah Dental, having been involved well before we opened our doors to patients in February 2023. She has been instrumental in laying down the foundations of this great practice using her experience gained from over 20 years in the dental industry. Voula comes to us from a very busy Adelaide practice and is exceptional at making every person feel welcome, taking great pride in the service that the team provides.
Outside of the practice, Voula is mum to two daughters, Maya and Emilia who love to play netball and spend time with their border collie, Tilly. Voula and her husband Brad spend many hours a week at the courts and Voula has spent time in coaching and managing roles at the netball club. Voula enjoys her spare time spent with friends and family, especially at a good restaurant, winery or sporting event.
